Project GODA kicks off a thrilling week of surgeries and saving lives!

In a remarkable display of compassion and medical expertise, the team of surgeons from Project GODA have started off their massive series of free surgeries across three major cities in Pakistan: Lahore, Karachi, and Muzaffargarh. This extraordinary initiative has brought relief and hope to countless patients who would have otherwise remained on a waiting list for years and years. 

A New Frontier in Medical Care

Project GODA’s team of skilled surgeons and medical professionals have been utilizing cutting-edge medical technology, including the innovative Hana medical bed. This state-of-the-art equipment has enabled the team to perform complex surgeries with precision and ease.

The Hana medical bed has been a game-changer in the operating room. With its adjustable height and angle, radiolucent surface, and integrated accessories, the surgical team can work with greater efficiency and accuracy.

Mohammad Saleem’s Story: Hope and Gratitude

Mohammad Saleem, a laborer from rural Punjab, had been living with debilitating back pain for two years. His spinal disc issue was a constant reminder of the injuries he sustained after falling multiple times on the job.

Desperate for relief, Saleem sought treatment in various cities, including Faisalabad, Multan, and Lahore. Senior doctors informed him that surgery was his only option, but the cost of private treatment was prohibitively expensive.

It was then that Saleem’s cousin suggested he visit Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN). Despite initial reservations, Saleem decided to take a chance. He spent four months undergoing pre-testing and was eventually admitted for surgery.

Saleem’s prayers were answered when he underwent successful surgery at the hands of doctors from Project GODA, who performed this surgery completely free of cost. As he prepares for discharge in the next few days, he’s filled with gratitude for the exceptional care he received at IHHN.

“I didn’t pay a single penny,” Saleem says, his voice filled with emotion. “IHHN has given me the opportunity to work normally again and enjoy a better quality of life.”

“It was wonderful. We did 6 double knees so 12 knees in our first day after travelling. The hospital facility is Mashallah state-of-the-art, the people are very nice. Allhumdullilah it’s been a great experience and it’s a privilege to help people back in my home country.”
