Eid Unity: Celebrating Joy, Compassion, and Support at Indus Hospital & Health Network

As the crescent moon emerges, casting its gentle glow across the sky, millions around the world prepare to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, a festival that marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting. Eid al-Fitr, often simply referred to as Eid, is a time of joy, gratitude, and unity for Muslims worldwide. It is a celebration that transcends borders, bringing people together in a spirit of camaraderie and reflection.

The Spirit of Eid

Eid embodies the essence of community, compassion, and gratitude. It is a time to express gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon us and to share those blessings with others. Families come together, friends reunite, and neighborhoods buzz with excitement as preparations for Eid festivities commence.

From the early hours of Eid morning, the atmosphere is imbued with joy and anticipation. Homes are adorned with colorful decorations, and the aroma of delicious food fills the air. Traditional sweets such as sheer khurma are prepared with love and shared generously with guests and neighbors.

Eid Bazar at Indus Hospital & Health Network

As Eid approaches, the halls of Indus Hospital buzz with excitement and anticipation. Volunteers, staff members, and donors come together to ensure that patients and their families experience the joy of Eid despite their circumstances. Plans are set in motion to create a festive atmosphere within the hospital walls, where smiles replace worries, and laughter fills the air.

At Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN), the spirit of Eid comes alive through the vibrant and bustling Eid Bazaar, a festival replicating a marketplace for cancer patients. Eid Bazar exhibits various stalls of clothes and other accessories for our beloved cancer patients.

Give the Gift of Fitrana & Support IHHN

In the words of Abu Hurayrah, Fitrana is due on “every Muslim, free or bondsmen, male or female, young or old, poor or rich”.

(Bukhari)

Fitrana (Zakat ul Fitr) is also known as special Zakat or obligatory alms of “Breaking the Fast”. It is a special charity to be given on or before the morning of Eid Ul Fitr and is obligatory for every able Muslim irrespective of age and gender.

This Eid-ul-fitr give your fitrana to Indus Hospital & Health Network and help us in saving lives.
