    Student Summer Training Program – FAQs

    ⁠What is the Student Summer Training Program?

    The Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) Students Summer Training Program is a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in both medical and non-medical fields within one of Pakistan’s leading nonprofit healthcare organizations. Interns will engage in hospital operations, patient care, marketing, resource mobilization, supply chain, and public health while witnessing the impact of free-of-cost healthcare on underserved communities.

    When does the program take place?

    The program will be held in July. There will be two windows for July: one from the 7th to the 15th, and another from the 21st to the 29th.

    What is the registration fee?
    The registration fee for the program is USD 500.
    Who is eligible to apply?

    The program is open to international students from the ages of 14–22, who are passionate about healthcare, philanthropy, and social impact. While there are no strict academic prerequisites, applicants must be able to commit to the training schedule.

    What is the application deadline?
     The deadline for applications is May 31st, 2025.
    Is accommodation or transportation provided?
      Students are responsible for arranging their travel, accommodation, and daily commute to the hospital.
    How does IHHN ensure safety and security?

    At IHHN, student safety is paramount. Our hospital premises are monitored 24/7 through a comprehensive security system, including trained security personnel and CCTV surveillance. Students will be supervised at all times during the program. For any travel outside the city, enhanced security measures will be arranged to ensure complete peace of mind.
