Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital (RTEH), in Muzaffargarh, successfully conducted its first open-heart surgery (bypass surgery), setting a significant milestone in its history. The patient, Mukhtar Ahmad, a resident of Muzaffargarh, had been suffering from heart problems for quite some time before undergoing this critical procedure.

After undergoing numerous tests and consultations at various hospitals, Mukhtar was advised that open-heart surgery was necessary. However, due to the substantial expenses and unavailability of immediate operation dates at other hospitals, he turned to Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital in Muzaffargarh.

Upon completion of all necessary tests at the hospital, a decision was made to proceed with the open-heart surgery. One week later, the surgery was successfully performed.
